Simpson Bay, St. Maarten - Netherlands Antilles - 04/04/2008
"Moving to Princess Port de Plaisance, Union Road near the French Border, St. Maarten" shouts the announcement on the Peg Leg Pub homepage
Jack and Linda Parker, the Arizona couple who will proudly tell anyone that Peg Leg Pub and Steakhouse has proven conclusively that great American Beef tastes even better in St. Maarten, announced their plans to move from the at times congested location in Simpson Bay to a place where guests would find it easier to reach their award winning restaurant.
The last day at the old Three Palms Plaza location will be Sunday, April 6th, and the reopening at Princess Port de Plaisance Resort will be on the 11th of April with a special "Friends and Family Day". Regular operations and hours will resume on Saturday, April 12.
Peg Leg Pub and Steakhouse is known for the finest lines of steaks this side of Texas, freshly caught seafood, piled-high deli sandwiches, and cool, soothing libations.
Jack and Linda were only half-joking when they stated: "Our new Port de Plaisance location is much closer for people in the Cupecoy area - just 20 minutes through Marigot. That's a lot better than 1 1/2 hours through Simpson Bay!" DineSXM shares their excitement and we wish the couple all the best at their new location. Of course we will continue to take online reservations for Peg Leg Pub and Steakhouse on the DineSXM website.
