Marigot Marina restaurant Le Pink Pot has closed its doors within 2 months of opening. On the Dutch side, The Stone in Simpson Bay is closed temporarily.

Owner Renato Cruz of Le Pink Pot wrote DineSXM recently to say that economic reasons have caused the closing of his restaurant on the Marigot Marina.

The restaurant, located on the spot formerly occupied by "Le Saint Germain" is currently for sale.

Meanwhile, on the Dutch side of the island, Johann Roebert of Stone-grill restaurant "The Stone" in Simpson Bay was forced to temporarily halt operations pending receipt of the necessary permits. According to an employee, "The Stone" will undergo some remodeling as the proprietors await their operating licenses.
